Performance Vehicle Operations engineers modified the Ram 1500's Heavy Duty rack & pinion steering and independent front suspension for use in the RAM SRT-10. The fully hydroformed Dodge Ram frame was used in conjunction with a custom-tuned suspension. Dodge lowering the Ram SRT-10's ride height 1 inch in the front and 2.5 inches in the rear using Bilstein shock absorbers and performance-tuned springs.

The unique aerodynamic aids developed for the RAM SRT-10 were used to enhance the Ram SRT-10's higher-speed performance.

2006 Ram SRT-10 springs. The 2006 Ram SRT-10 front springs (both Std. and Quad) are stiffer by approx. 20-30% and the check heights are taller by 1/2 inch to specifically address the '06 chassis geometry improvements. (SRT Engineering Team - Chat Session)
